VEGAS 12 pro WINDOWS ARE COMPLETELY MESSED UP

Its been a while since I’ve used vegas since I’ve retired . I have vegas pro 12. my windows all of the sudden just went crazy. I set it to default and that was worse. Just a big open space of nothing. How can I get my timeline to look like the ” old vegas ” with the timeline on top. my titles don’t work either. I think I’ve forgotten more than I ever knew! This has been a frustration beyond words. Thank you in advance. WG

Go to View / Window Layouts / Default Layout – this should restore to the default layout.

If that does not work, I recommend a full program reset.
Hold CTRL + Shift keys and double-click program icon to launch program.
Select Delete all Cached Application Data and then press Yes.

To move the timeline back to the top, go to Options – Preferences – Display – and uncheck “Display timeline at the bottom of main window”
