Vegas 12 Explorer not working
Posted by Dave Petteruto on September 9, 2013 at 4:11 pmAll of a sudden the Explorer window in my Vegas12 has stopped working. No media shows up in it at all and clicking on the various buttons, folders, etc.does nothing. I’ve rebooted the computer and that didn’t help–Any thoughts?
Thanks

September 9, 2013 at 6:47 pm[Steve Rhoden] “You tried reinstalling Vegas?”
Not yet, I was hoping to avoid doing that. If I do a re-install do I need to reset all my vegas stuff (vegasaur, windows positions, tools window etc.) once Vegas is re-installed?
Thanks

September 9, 2013 at 9:11 pmIts never a big deal to re-install Vegas Dave. All your
customized settings, plugins etc will still be in their
exact same place and setting.Steve Rhoden

Thanks

September 10, 2013 at 2:43 amYeah, simply go to Add remove programs, uninstall vegas there,
And then reinstall it and then restart the computer.
There is also a new Vegas update available now.Steve Rhoden

September 10, 2013 at 3:16 amDe-installed and re-installed Vegas including the new Vegas 12 (Build 710) update all to no avail. Funny thing is that explorer works in my Vegas 10. Very frustrating.
Thanks

is causing this issue, but its hard to figure out exactly what
it could be.Steve Rhoden
