Vegas 12 Explorer not working

All of a sudden the Explorer window in my Vegas12 has stopped working. No media shows up in it at all and clicking on the various buttons, folders, etc.does nothing. I’ve rebooted the computer and that didn’t help–Any thoughts?

Not yet, I was hoping to avoid doing that. If I do a re-install do I need to reset all my vegas stuff (vegasaur, windows positions, tools window etc.) once Vegas is re-installed?

Its never a big deal to re-install Vegas Dave. All your
customized settings, plugins etc will still be in their
exact same place and setting.

What is the proper method of re-installing Vegas. Should I remove Vegas using Windows then re-install Vegas?

Yeah, simply go to Add remove programs, uninstall vegas there,
And then reinstall it and then restart the computer.
There is also a new Vegas update available now.

De-installed and re-installed Vegas including the new Vegas 12 (Build 710) update all to no avail. Funny thing is that explorer works in my Vegas 10. Very frustrating.

Well that then indicates that something recently installed etc,
is causing this issue, but its hard to figure out exactly what
it could be.
