  • Vegas 12 can’t find CD drive after upgrading from Win 7 to Win 10?

Device Manger shows it to be fine and I can play a CD no problem but V12 reports “no drive” when attempting to extract audio.
Any thoughts as to how to fix the issue?
    Thanks,
    Randy

From Sony Creative Software for similar problem:

In Vegas, Navigate to Options – Preferences – CD Settings and select the option for Skip Drive Database, Auto-detect drive capabilities. Click Apply then OK. Close Vegas. Restart your system. Open Vegas again.

Thanks, that is one of the first things I did prior to posting here.
    Thanks again,
