I did not have this issue with Vegas 9HD, but now in Vegas 11 pro, I’m rendering a fairly long project roughly 32 minutes in 1280×720, mixture of SD and HD video, lots of cuts, etc. No matter what I try to render the video to, either m2t or wmv, the rendering crashes when the file size reaches about 4.3GB, almost always at the same spot, during the end credits that are scrolling.

There are no special effects happening at that time, so I’m stumped as to what could be causing this and wondering if there’s really a size limit to rendered projects?

    Thanks.

Well nevermind, culprit found… Didn’t recall that a BorisFX color plugin was being used for the scrolling credits background. Removed it and it rendered fine. So, there’s an issue with that!

Just out of curiousity, is your file system FAT32 or NTFS?

My system specs: Intel i7 970, 12GB RAM, ASUS P6T, Vegas Pro 10e (x32/x64), Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, Vegas Production Assistant 1.0, VASST Ultimate S Pro 4.1, Neat Video Pro 2.6

NTFS. I successfully ran a 1280×720 WMV render @ 6Mbps without a problem after I removed the BCC effect from my background pic. Really annoying though, lots of wasted time.
