Vegas 10d 64 bit will not function
Recently upgraded to 10d and have had no issues (that didnt exist in previous versions) with the 32 bit version, but the 64 bit will not run. It will open, then almost immediately crash with a “not responding” message. Previous releases of the 64 bit ran fine on this same workstation, and all my other software runs without issue. Cant seem to get any input on the Vegas forum, so Im hoping for some insight here….THanks !

This sounds like a Windows problem, so more information will help us solve it.
* What version of Windows are you running?
* Did 10c 64-bit work?Open up the Windows event viewer and look at the details of the 64-bit crash, and also post them here.
You might want to jump waaay ahead and try this:
* get a good backup
* Completely uninstall all versions of Vegas 10 , 32 and 64 bit
* reboot
* Run CCleaner (https://www.piriform.com/cleaner) . Run the regclean section repeatedly until it either reports no problems or can’t fix the ones it lists
* another reboot
* re-install JUST the 10d 64-bitSteve
