Vegas 10 and Sony HXR-MC1500E camera
I’ve got Vegas 10 and I’m no expert, just a part time user in my job (that means rarely). We need a couple new cameras at work for an increased workload in video training and I’m looking at the Sony HXR-MC1500E, so that I can use removable storage media rather than miniDV tapes to speed production.
The camera specs talk about using VCHD (a highly efficient data compression format). Can anyone tell me if these files can be opened in Vegas 10?

I’ve never heard of VCHD – are you sure it isn’t AVCHD? If it is then Vegas should handle it fine.
