I need some stuff to be in a pre-comp because the whole thing is scaled up & down at the main comp level, but there’s both vector art & effects animation in the Pre-Comp. If I collapse transformations * to make the vector look good, it disables the effects inside (turbulent displace to animate water). If I don’t collapse transformations * so the effects show, the vector looks blurry.

Any tips on what to do?? Work-arounds?

I think what I’ve done I the past is scale the vector up loads and pre-comp it (continuously rasterize inside there) sort of a super sampling workaround. But maybe just precomping the vector might work.

I had a similar problem, no great solution but this was fairly painless:

Go into each problem comp –> make sure content was continually rasterized there –> Scripts –> Scale Comp –> Factor of 4 –> Go back and make the scale 25%. (If you’ve animated the Scale then you’ll need make each keyframe a quarter the amount)
