vector paths flying in
hello!
Im very new to scripting in after effects but i had a cool idea earlier that came out of using an online app called rasterbator (nice name i know!) https://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/
So i made up my face on it and it turned out pretty cool :
https://www.flickr.com/photos/24442249@N05/2401236370/Now all those dots that make up that image are vector paths that are selectable in illustator. What i thort would be cool is if you could animate them all in (in z-depth) from left to right.
I dont know if expressions is the best way to go for this but i thought I’d jus put it out there.
Very impressed with rasterbator though very useful!

I’m not sure if an expression would be what you are looking for but the Card Dance effect might do what you are trying to do. You might even be able to use the image as the offset gradient.
