    Hi all,

couple of questions about Vector paint in Ver 6.5

I’m doing a text reveal (yawn) but need to know…

    1) How can I retime a set of strokes. E.g. I’m writing up two words, but didn’t advance the playhead when recording the second set of strokes, so need to shift them along the timeline.

    2) Can I delete specific strokes. When I select one and delete, it removes the entire effect. grrr.

    1) As far as I know, you can’t do that. You have to start over.
    2) try selecting a stroke and using the backspace key.

You can also draw masks and animate the end point of the render>stroke effect to reveal text.

Maybe I’m thinking of the other paint, but if you twirl down the effect in the timeline one will see each stroke. Retime the stroke by moving it to a differant place in the timeline or delete and individual stroke.

I’ll open AE and confirm that myself.

Yep, wrong paint. Paint has each stroke available for editing.
