    vector or bitmap render preview faster?

    i have a scene with over 100 trees on the ground,
    PNG or AI files for the trees will be render faster on preview?
    any suggestions?

    thanks for your reply, so i assume, PNG will load faster then AI, but loss on quality.
    basically the idea is moving through the forest,
    because my machine is preview rendering it extremely slow,
    that’s why the question whether PNG will load faster than AI in preview.
