Does anyone know if Vegas will accept vector graphics like an illustrator file?

    Ed,

Are you saying “No”? The only vector format i see is SWF and that’s only partially a vector format-and you can’t make any use of SWF vectors in Vegas.

Blimp, there are a couple of vector tools in vegas that you can use for masking but it’s pretty basic. Still, maybe someday you will be able to import an *.ai file. I take it third parties are sending you these?

.ai is not on the list so, yes, I guess I’m saying no.

Sorry if I was a bit harsh, but there aren’t any vector formats on that list. Swf doesn’t count because it’s not editable.
