When you render fairly complex media, three video tracks, and IN
and OUT points around the area to be rendered, the following
exception might occur during the render process:
Exception: VDMV2P_TIMEOUT
Workaround: Start the render again. It might work slowly, but it will
complete the render. Restart the render as many times as it is
necessary. If you create an effect on a video track, you cannot play the effect
until you leave Effect mode. An error message appears if you
attempt to play the effect in Effect mode.
Workaround: Exit Effect mode to play the effect. If you apply a Vertical Blinds effect to the clip boundaries in a DV
50 sequence, a VDMV2P_TIMEOUT error might occur. If you import a graphic with a black background and place a Luma
Key effect on the graphic, you cannot completely turn off the
keying, even when the gain level is set to zero.
Workaround: Import the graphic using a white background.
Alternatively, for a cleaner keying effect, create and import the graphic
as a Matte Key effect.hth
