VBR Question
I am having difficulty understanding the VBR for Bit Rate calculation. I have a project that is 1:52.24,06 to be exact. What should my VBR be so that DVDA does not have to render it again???? Please help….Also, should I be using MPEG-2 compression. Will I see quality loss or should I render .avi?

VBR simply means “Variable Bit Rate”
Your AVERAGE Bit rate must be low enough so that the file size is small enough to fit on the DVD. Otherwise DVDA would have to recompress. For 2 hours, an average bitrate of 4,825,000 with AC3 audio will work.
