Vault Archiving Software for Mac
Hi all, I’m a vault manager at a top tier commercial and music video production house. I’m currently in the market to purchase some new software to help me organize and catalog all of my media assets in our Vault. There are thousands of Digibeta and HDCAM tapes, DVD’s, Cd’s, Film elements, Digital File’s etc… to log. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with any piece of software (preferably mac based) that’d help me to keep everything together and searchable at the click of a button. Our old system for this was kind of like filemaker pro and it was a complete nightmare. I’m hoping someone has some insight on a barcoding and label making system for this. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

CatDV Enterprise from Squarebox has Tape management. It will require CatDV Server.
