I have the VAST for Vegas 6 and DVD architect training disks. The VAST for Vegas has absolutely no audio. The VAST DVDA disk starts out with audio then has no audio after a brief intro. My audio works great with lots of software including microsoft windows media player so I do not think it is a hardware or software problem other than the VAST.
Is this a reputable company? I can’t imagine that I received two bad DVD’s. Or am I missing something?

You need to contact the company, explain the situation and ask for replacement discs.

VASST are very reliable – write to them and they will ensure this is fixed.

I have had a similar problem with varied suppliers of dvd’s. One option before contacting them might be to dload a version of Cyberlinks’ Powerdvd and try and watch the dvd with that. If it does work then your Windows media codecs may be corrupt (which can happen)

    Well,
Turns out the copy protection used on these disks is incompatible with certain dvd player software. I used VLC medica player and it worked.
Did have one bad disk, though, that is scratched. I’m sure the company is going to replace it.
