    Hi,
I have shot and worked with alot of slow motion with the HVX-200 (shot 60FPS and rec format 720/24pN).
I am working on a 2 camera shoot with a Varicam and am looking for suggestions on how to set up the same effect on Varicam…to match the HVX200 60FPS played back at 720/24pN at 180degree shutter.
I have not used the variable frame rate function of the Varicam, only 24P to date.
Hoping / looking for some suggestions.
    Thanks,

    Brian

    Brian,

Set the frame rate (Main Menu Pg2) at 60, shutter at 180 degrees to shoot maximum slow mo rate and use hardware FRC or FCP software FRC plugin to convert back to 24p project. This will match the slo-mo fx you’re getting on the HVX200.
