Varicam settings in 6.0?
The “AJA KONA 3- 720p 23.98 DVCPRO HD Varicam” is no longer available. There was a setting in 5.1 that allowed you to digitize from the tape (59.94) while removing the extra frames.
Oddly enough this setting is featured in the graphic for presets in the latest version of the user manual. (page 84)
Any thoughts as to why this setting is no longer there?

It is there, it has been renamed as the Varicam is no longer the only 720p camera that can do Variable Frame Rates or VFR.
Both of the presets work for a “vanilla” removal of 24p from a 720p video stream
AJA Kona3 720p 23.98 DVCProHD VFR is the new name for the easy setup that allows for the VFR Frame removal in realtime during capture.
