  Varicam questions

  I have a client planning to shoot varicam (not sure which model yet) The project is destined to be delivered on SD PAL Digibeta tape.

  They want to shoot at 25fps and 60fps.
  The Mac has a BMD HD card that supports these formats (FCP 6.0.5)
  Does it have to go through a frame rate converter?

  Is it feasible to capture these formats directly into FCP via firewire and if so any
  insight into settings would be apreciated!
