VariCam P2
Obviously the Varicam will be going P2 before too long. My guess would be late 2006. Anyone heard anything on the wind?

Panasonic announced a 2/3″ P2 DVCPRO-HD camera during their NAB demo, but I don’t believe they specifically said “Varicam” on it. So that could be the VariCam successor, or maybe it’s a different camera? Either way, I don’t think any details at all were announced other than to say “2/3”, “P2”, “DVCPRO-HD”, and “2006”.
