I am shooting a spot in Yellowstone National Park on August 16th. We’ve run into some problems with our Varicam rental. I need to find a rental, preferably in the Idaho-Montana-Wyoming area. Due to a tight budget, we need to keep it to a one-day rental. I would need the camera, batteries, charger and AC adapter. If available, I would also want: matte-box, set of ND grads, pola, HD downconverter for monitoring and/or HD monitor, sticks and head.

I can ship to anywhere FedEx goes. I will need the package by the evening of the 15th, and I can ship out on the morning of the 17th for delivery on the 18th.

    Thanks, everyone!

    Wayne,

The cost of the overnight fed ex is going to kill you.

In addition with the amount of time the camera will be away it is doubtful anyone out of town will keep the rental at a one day rental.

You would be best served by trying to find a local owner/operator for this job.

We have money built in for shippping (but not enough for a second rental day.) A local owner/operator would be ideal, so long as he/she would be okay with serving as 1st AC on the shoot. My DP will be operating.

    Dude,

Go to mandy.com you can search camera rental or camera men, etc, in Montana, Northeast, or the whole country. I saw some owners of the Varicam in Washinton state.

    good-luck
