Varicam at 720p 60 n PAL
Hi. I work with Panasonic Varicam and shoot 720p 60. I want to work in PAL but for some reason when I try to capture to FCP, it comes in as NTSC 59.94. Is there a way to shoot 720p 60 and capture so it remains at 60fps and is PAL? In case it helps, I capture using Firewire.

720p/60 IS 59.94.
PAL is 720p/50

No
PAL is an SD only format, 720p50 is HD,
HOWEVER — YES it will downconvert to 50i SD for PAL delivery directly.
