    We shot nice slomo scenes with Varicam overcranked at 60fps. Captured at 23.98 DVCPro-HD into Final Cut. FCP Frame converter then renders gorgeous slomo. Now to AE.

    Should I interpret the footage with no fields at 23.98? Then use a 23.98fps Comp for color correction/effects, then render WITH fields at 29.97fps to SD 4×3 FCP timline? (I am squeezing HD for final lertterboxed SD 4×3 frame). I imagine this method adds a “pulldown” to the final render…
