I am trying to create a lower third template which has two different fonts on one line of text. I can create two text “boxes” or template fields, but is there a way to adjust the spacing between them so that I don’t have an awkward gap between them?

Link the position of your second text box to a dummy text field so you can control its position FCP – here’s a video that describes the process

    Hi,

I have followed the tutorial but when it comes to changing the Link’s Source Parameter to the Source Text’s size I do not have that option.
The Compatible Parameters drop down menu only show Properties and Object but not Style so I cannot link it to the hidden text’s size.

Any thoughts on where I might be going wrong?

    Many thanks,
    Patrick

Rebuilt from scratch and works fine. Don’t think I did anything different so perhaps just a bug?
