variable rate audio cannot be imported
Hi. I have 5-6 concerts DVDs that I purchased. I am in the process of making a compilation DVD with some songs from each of the concerts. For each song, I have been importing .dv and .ac3 files into DVD Studio Pro (to retain surround sound). I successfully imported all the songs except one: For that one, I could not import the ac3 file: I got a message that reads “variable bit rate audio cannot be imported.” Is there something I can do to change the .ac3 file so that it is constant instead of variable? Or change a setting on DVD Studio Pro so that it will accept a variable bit rate audio file?

rip it back to AIF and then re-encode to AC3.
