I was wondering if stressing the P2 to shoot under 12 FPS damaged the CCD? I have been shooting 2fps and 4fps with P2 in Native 24fps mode and it seems fine, but I was wondering if the chip is too sensitive to handle the frame rate?

Yes you may not believe me but If you change the value of your scene files Frame rate on the SD card while in your computer you can achieve all even frame rates from 2-60 with exception of 25fps The frame rate actually comes up in the scene file as 4fps and you visually see the effect if you are shooting 24PN.
I am just curious, I have several sucessful time lapses and other no shutter effects Ive tried with the scene files. If you’d like to see I can upload my settings when I get to the camera again in a couple of days. Or read this from dvxuser forums:

I would paste instructions but I’m afraid It could not go over well with the admin here.

Yes I know about the hack. At your own risk but I’ve not heard of anyone wrecking their cam.
