    Why there is different PAL and NTSC models?
    With “Varicam style” isn’t it possible to shoot 720p24/25/50/60
    with both of these models?

    Z1 changes from ntsc to pal with flick of the switch.
    This would have been nice hvx also.

    1080p25@100Mbps sounds good though, there is no 20% wasted bandwidth
    like in 1080p24@p30 (with pull-down)…

    Last week their was a post that said there was actually 3 models, NTSC, Pal and a Universal (I think that was the name used) which did all formats. I think Steve posted it either here or in the HDV forum.
