    Hi,

Has anybody tried shooting under (and over) crank using the FS-100 on firmware 3 with a HVX-202 (equivalent on HVX-200 for US)? I’m gonna be shooting for a corporate and we tried to do some tests the other day. We couldn’t get the footage to play back smoothly. In fact, when we were recording, the screen showed not in realtime (as most posts have mentioned). Here’s are settings we tried:

    On the firestore
    P2
    P2 PN
    Quicktime
    Quicktime PN

    On the camera
    720P/25P
    720P/50P
    frame rates 12P and 50P

On all of these settings, after I get into the FCP, footage didn’t playback looking like it was slow-mo or fast-mo. For footage that was shot on regular P2 and Quicktime, I selected the footage in the FCP bin and used Tools “DVCPRO HD framerate converter” but nothing happened. Please advise what I did wrong. All regular speed footage plays back mint. For variable frame-rates, we did put the camera on FILM CAM. BTW, going tapeless rocks.
