  • Variable audio time-stretching in Vegas?

    Hello,

One problem I have in Vegas 7 is that when I vary the velocity of a video clip via a velocity envelope there is no way to make the audio match this, aside from manually time-stretching a lot of little bits of the audio clip to get an approximate match.

Is there any way to automatically time-stretch the audio to sync with the video, or to create an audio velocity envelope? If not, what is the simplest method that you have found for doing this sort of variable audio time-stretch?

    Thanks,
    Mark

You can strectch audio the same way as video by Ctrl/Dragging the event. To do multiple events, group them with the G key, and when you stretch one, they all will stretch.
