  VANC & Vertical Line Shifting

  Hi,

  Currently I am trying to capture some pal footage with caption text embedded into lines 21 and 334 of the footage. I have been having some issues regarding a vertical line shift in the footage. When it is digitized using the deck link card, the caption text information appears 2 lines above where it should be. Just to note, I have vanc settings set “Video File Line 1 is used for VANC Data line 21 on, hide line off”.

  Is there anybody who has an idea of what might be going wrong?
