Enjoying the V8 update. Some questions if I may:

The Polygon ‘inside’ and ‘outside’ softness don’t appear to be behaving as they did in V7? The result with either is an odd very broad and subtle softening (even when cranked). This window shape not usable as is.

Is there away to not have the save still dialogue box pop up behind the scopes on our second monitor? Inconvenient at best.

What is considered the most prudent stabilization approach? We have gotten in to trouble when stabilizing toward the end of the node tree when tracked windows on previous nodes are not automatically compensated for with the stabilizing zoom and repo. Is a dedicated node at the head of the tree the excepted method.

    All thoughts most appreciated.

    Cheers,

I think its a reasonable idea to stabilize the material in the first node, or at least early if the first node is used to balance the grade.

Thanks Peter. The ‘pitfall’ is modify the stabilization parameters during a grade.
Are you able to speak to the Polygon and Still issues?
