UV Lens stuck and i mean stuck!
I bought a Canon XH A1 second hand everything is perfect with it, except i can’t remove the UV lens, its got a few little scratches appearing. I have tried everything; putting it in the cold,against a rubber pad, elastic band around it and twisting. Even a jam jar lid remover, twisting it on the bottom of the shoe and someone asked if i had tried vibrating it loose with a shaver.
Are there any tools to get it off, or super thin clamps to get it off.
Or any other techniques that won’t destroy my camera in the process.Any suggestions would be great

You could try very very carefully putting JUST the filter in a vise with the camera facing lens down and then twist the camera. or a pair of needle nose pliers in each hand, gripping the lip of the filter from both sides and then twisting.

Lens wrench, looks kind of like an oil filter wrench, applies force evenly all around so as not to distort, which is I think your problem.
Or if you are very careful, you could use a very fine hacksaw blade to make a slot across two sides of the filter’s ring, then tape over the teeth of the blade, use the reverse side of the blade like a wristwatch repairman’s wrench, which should also give you good leverage without squeezing the barrel.

I hesitate to suggest any application of oils or other liquids, so easy to mess things up worse, but there is a pretty good product called ACF 50, I know aircraft supply places like Wicks sell it and you can probably get a can online somewhere. A teeensy-weensy few molecules of this applied to the joint using capillary action may help break loose any jamming corrosion, if you give it some time to work. My guess though is that the threads have been goobered-up by the guy that put the UV filter on last.
