    Try AJA’s system speed test, it’s free. Will measure in MB/sec, streams, and frames per second.

    If you need something that will measure across the entire distance of the raid, then yo will need something like iozone. Also, your raid manufacturer might have utilities built into their system to benchmark their Raids. You should ask them as well.

    Hmmm…tried the AJA utility, but I’m not sure what the “read” measurement is. Sure, I’d like to believe I’m getting 916 MEGABYTES/s sustained, but frankly, I find that hard to believe. Maybe I’ll have to contact AJA on this one.

    I’m looking for something that can give me a sustained read measurement off of the RAID.
