  • Utility to determine a PAL or NTSC DVD-5 Diskette

Is there any utility out there that can determine if a recorded DVD is either PAL or NTSC; or other process? (There are no labels.) And if they’re set to zero region.

    Thanksfor your collective wisdom.

    Cheers,
    Bill in Toronto

    Bill,

If they don’t play in an NTSC player, they’re PAL, and if they do their NTSC. Thats the utility…

If you have a PC with a DVD drive that will let you explore the disc, you can use IFOedit to open up the VIDEO_TS.IFO (in the VIDEO_TS Folder). You should see some info that would point you in the right direction…
