    Hi,
    This is driving me nuts.
I have a .3ds model of a rocket and I want to animate it flying through my scene in 3d with a trail, in after effects.

I imported the rocket into zaxwerks invigorator
and I have attached its set to a 3d null layer to gain control of its position.

My trail is made with Trapcode particular, based on the light streaks look with a bit of velocity etc.
I tried creating an invisible plane at the back of the rocket, in Zaxwerks – and attaching it to the 3d tracking null, but I stiill cannot get the emitter to the right place.

I can control the emitter pos with another 3d null, but I cannot find a way to position my null so it is attached to the bottom ‘booster’ end of my rocket, so we end up with a perspective view of the rocket as it flies through, filling up the scene with its trail….

Can this be done or should I perhaps try pre-rendering the rocket with an alpha channel, and motion tracking particular to it (not done much motion tracking though…)

    Thanks in advance!!
