    Using x264vfw codec on Vegas Pro 11 64bit

    Hi,

    I am having problems to obtain a .MP4 output (Sony AVC/MVC doesn’t delivery sound / MainConcept AVC/AAC generates error just by clicking to render).

    I am thinking on using x264vfw codec (https://x264vfw.sourceforge.net/).

    a) Does anyone have any advice about x264vfw usage on Vegas?

    b) I could select x264vfw just from the output/container .AVI (in Vegas render options). Would be possible to select x264vfw from other output as .MP4? How to?

    I also would like to know how to do this.

    I downloaded the x264vfw codec x264.exe

    Now what do I do with it ? Do I just run it ? Am I suppose to put it someplace ? How do I get it into Vegas ?

    Once I have it installed, I know that I go to “Render As”, then I pick “Custom Template”, but I don’t see where I choose the Codec from.
