Good day, all searches have come com up empty so I thought I’d ask here. Does any know of has anyone used video as a textures node using RedShift? Is it possible? I have tried all the typical option in the “animation tab”.

    I get this error:
“Texture Processor failed for ‘C:\***\x.mp4’! ‘OpenImageIO could not find a format reader for “C:\***\x.mp4”. Is it a file format that OpenImageIO doesn’t know about?”

Turns out it will only accept image sequences.

Thanks for sharing your solution. I know it’s annoying, but it is understandable; handling MP4s properly is ridiculously tricky. I was amazed when Cinema 4D’s native stuff announced they were going to be able to use MP4s.
