Im a novice in regards to using expressions, so bare with me…

I have a shape layer with a dotted line and Im trying to animate the offset value. I’d like to use the time*10 expression and have the offset start at a value of 25. However, adding the expression sets the offset value back to 0. What would the expression be that would achieve this?

    25 + time*10
or, if you want to just add to the existing manually set value of the effect

    value + time*10
which allows you to change the beginning value from the effect controls.
