    Using the PDW-1500 as a field recorder

    Hi,

    I am trying to use my PDW-1500 as a recorder in the field by connecting the SDI output of my ex1 camera into the SDI-in on the deck with no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments on how to overcome this issue?

    Unless it has an encder built into it this won’t work

    Hi,
    Sony 1500A has the HD-SDI input but 1500 does not have.Which model you are using.
