  • Using the Go To Next/Previous Marker command in regards to timeline markers as opposed to clip markers

Lately I’ve been have a problem with the “Go to Previous/Next Marker” command in Premiere 2017. When I’m trying to jump between markers made on the clips in the timeline, the shortcut works just fine. But, when I’m attempting to navigate markers that are placed on the timeline itself, the command seems to default to “Go to Previous/Next Edit,” and completely ignores the timeline markers all together. I don’t remember this being an issue for me in the past, so I’m wondering if I’m just missing something obvious here. I’ve tried it with all of the tracks selected and none of the tracks selected, and it doesn’t seem to make a difference.

In case it helps, I have my “Go to Previous Marker” and “Go to Next Marker” commands set to “,” and “.” respectively.

Anyone know what’s going on here?
