    Hiya,

Whats the best way to use the catalog to find an effect? If I use the search box (OSX Firefox) I just get an online google search lol

Untill now I have to manually trawl through the page. Which is crazy, for example I just went through the whole thing twice looking for a water ripple fx for a surface plane and couldnt find one but I know its there somewhere..

Maybe if the catalog was a pdf the search would work?

    Cheers

    Aaron,

particleView has a search option( it comes free with particleIllusion), just hit the “S” key while the preview window is active and you can search for an effect by a key word like “fire” or “red” or whatever. It is a simple application and you will need to add paths if your emitters are not all in the same place “Emitter Libraries”. It also ONLY searches effects you already have on your system.

    Have fun,

    John
