Activity Forums VEGAS Pro Using Selective Prerender

Now that my workflow has changed from DV-in to AVCHD-in, I no longer used Dynamic RAM Preview (down to 0 MB due to the Vegas issue, too). While my PC now seems a lot more stable in Vegas 12 after all of the other changes that I made per the numerous suggestions on this Forum, too, using Selective Rendering SHOULD allow me to view scenes with F/X and transitions without stuttering, correct? So if my input is 1920X1080 60i and my target media is Blu-Ray, what format is best to selectively render to? This elusive process appears to be the only thing slowing me down at this point, so if someone would kindly point me in the right direction…and thank you in advance.

I would say selectively prerender with your project settings and in the format of the video on the timeline.
