Using Render Engine with PCs and G5s
Does anyone have any experience building a project on a mac, but then sending all of the comps off to a pc render farm? We have a bunch of PCs that make up our 3d render farm that we use all the time with After Effects on the PC side, but on the mac we have problems.
For instance, if I have a project made up completely of solids and text and send it off, the PCs render it fine. But if it has any Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. files I get errors that it can’t find the files even though they exist on the same server as the watch folder.
When I look at the path on the Mac it shows up like server:jobs:project.aep and on the pc its more like serverjobsproject.aep. It seems to me that the path seems to be the issue. Is there any way around this?

The backslashes in the posting disappeared for the example of how the file path appears on the PC. On the PC the path appears as
server(backslash)jobs(backslash)project.aep
