  • Using R3D camera metadata for some attributes but not others?

I’d like to use the camera metadata for ISO and Color temperature, but switch the gamma curve from Redgamma to Redlogfilm. On page 15 of the manual it seems to suggest that this is possible, but on the system we’re working with it seems like when you switch to camera metadata all fields become unchangable?

There must be a way to use the camera metadata, but switch from redgamma to redlogfilm right?

    Thanks!

Way I do it… could be wrong way:

Set r3d metadata to as shot
Select all clips in color timeline, change metadata just for fields I want, and press “apply changes” which only modifies the parameters you changed. Retains all settings but the ones you modify.
