I use Pluraleyes to sync 3 or 4 cameras as well as an H4n Audio file. After the sync is done, I put it onto the timeline and I want to make a Multiclip from the synced slips.

Here’s what I do: I export each track and it’s audio separately (just for reference) as a Quicktime Reference File. I do this for all 3 cameras.

Then I make the Multiclip and have it start at the In Points. It’s been working great.

Is this the best way to do this? I eventually make a DVD from it so the whole timeline gets encoded anyway.

    Thanks,

No. Never export QT reference files and reimport for use in a project. They are fragile. They are really only meant to be used to make quick exports to take into Compressor. To be used quickly. If you put one into a project, and some media from it gets moved, or anything…it’ll stop working, and there’s no way to fix them.
