Using plugins
I have had the earlier Mercalli version installed on my machine for a while now but have only just started to really use it. Since I haven’t been using plug I’m a little uncertain if you are using more than one effect on a clip which one goes first or does it matter? Suppose I wish to use Mercalli stabilizer & also use pan & crop which goes first?
The reason that I ask is because I have noticed that once Mercalli plays back a clip after its done its work that the center portion of the clip now appears to be more steady but the edges of the clip sometimes shimmer. Have I just gotten the Mercalli settings incorrect or should I try pan/crop on these results.

You don’t have an option. Mercalli always ignores Pan/Crop and stabilizes based on the entire clip. So Pan/Crop will always come after Mercalli regardless of what you do.
