  • Using Photoshop to convert an image from Indesign to jpg

I am trying to convert an image which I have in Indesign to jpg. The quality in Indesign is fine but once I convert to jpg (via export to photoshop) the quality deteriorates and the edges are jagged. I think the problem might be with the way that I am saving in Photoshop. I need the image in 300 dpi so I export it to Photoshop at around 600 or 1200 dpi then reduce it to 300 dpi. I am not sure if this is the way to do it.

I would appreciate any assistance in correcting the problem.

Why do you need a jpeg in 300dpi? I assume you are printing it, so why not just export it as a pdf and print it? I have never had any problems doing that
