  • using Photoshop Actions in Premier or After Effects CS5?

I’ve done some research on the topic and have seen a few older posts on how to render a sequence in AE using the filmstrip format or as a photoshop sequence, then import into photoshop, then re-export to AE.

With CS5, are there any newer methods for using photoshop actions in either Premier or AE? Ability to import actions?

    Nope.

And the Filmstrip format is dead. I use PSD image sequences to do this kind of thing.
