Using one frame from footage as a photo
Is there any easy way to select just one frame from your piece of footage and use it on the timeline like a photo, and perhaps be able to zoom in and out of it too?

Won’t be able to zoom in and out without it tearing up the picture a bit, but yes. Park your playnead on the frame you wan to freeze and type shift+n. A freeze shows up in the Viewer to edit into the sequence.

Or in the menus, it’s Modify> make freeze frame. You can assign any duration you want to it. drag it to the bin and you have it as it’s own source for multiple uses.
