    Hello,

Im making this animation with an illustration i have made. It is fully AE, but i want to use one model, a tv, thats made in C4D.
In AE i use a fast cameramovement to a house. In the house the character is wathing tv. When the camera is at the illustration, the camera turns slowly to the tv and shows a logo. So youlle have to see the tv is indeed 3d and turns with the cammove in AE.

    How would i achieve this?

(Its the first time i combine the softwares)

    Thanks

    Dhr T.

    Peace

I did something with a 3d model a long time ago and I seem to remember the key was to use it as a 2d image.

You might also try exporting your camera data from AE… search here for some posts on that as it’s a little confusing… and then use that data in C4D to map a camera move… then, just export/import it as an element.

    Good luck,

render out your AE footage to a movie
bring that into C4D as a backbround
animate your 3d model TV to match.
turn off the background and render out as a movie or image sequence with an alpha channel.
if you need Z depth for 3d fog etc you can render out as an rpf image sequence.
