    Using mpeg-2 files

    Anyone know the best way to get mpeg-2 media into Final Cut Pro 5 to use for editing? I keep getting it without audio. I installed and used the Quick Time MPEG2 encoder, and converted MPEG2 files to MPEG4 and I still get no audio. Any thoughts?

    Use SlipStream to convert to a QT DV file.
